Long term strategy for Catastrophe Services

James Gream joins as chief operating office for Crawford Catastrophe Services.

Crawford & Company® welcomes James Gream, newly appointed chief operating officer for Crawford Catastrophe Services. James joins us with deep industry experience. James, and the role he is taking on, represents Crawford’s commitment to succession planning and our long term strategy to significantly grow our Catastrophe Services U.S. operation.

Within catastrophe operations, we have a tremendous foundation to grow upon thanks to Bev Trice and her leadership these past years. Bev will assume the role of president of Crawford Catastrophe Services and retain overall P&L responsibility, while James will be responsible for all domestic catastrophe operations and employee augmentation which includes adjuster roster expansion and development.

We have tremendous momentum to build on from 2017 for both catastrophe operations as well as field operations. However, we know from lessons learned that we have much more opportunity and that without strategic investment in our people and technology, this will not happen. With the recent launch of our new Catastrophe website, https://www.crawco.com/cat, and Renovo application, https://www.crawco.com/cat/adjuster-login, that powers our recruiting, deployment and adjuster engagement, combined with our investment in leadership, we are confident that we are on the right path forward to meet our near and long term goals.
