Crawford & Company® Graduates 2016 Emerging Leaders Group
Crawford & Company® continues its strong tradition of building a next generation of leaders by recently hosting its annual Emerging Leaders Program from Nov. 6-11 at the Atlanta Support Center.
This intensive, invitation-only program was designed to further develop each participant’s strategic abilities and overall understanding of Crawford®’s operations. The program encourages leadership development, providing the participants an opportunity to build critical management skills, get exposure to senior leadership, work on real-world projects, and network with their peers from around the world.

Emerging Leaders class of 2016
Crawford’s Global Executive Management (GEM) team nominates employees who have shown extraordinary potential through their work contributions, skills, and leadership abilities for participation in the program. This year, 23 participants representing the Company’s various businesses and locations participated in the week-long program.
Participants were welcomed by President & CEO Harsha V. Agadi, who shared Crawford’s strategic direction, attributes of a great leader, and lessons from his personal leadership journey. Various company executives also shared information about their operations. Participants received training on business acumen and execution skills. They participated in fun, but meaningful team building exercises, and completed a comprehensive individual leadership assessment process. Each participant was assigned to a team that researched and recommended solutions to business-critical corporate challenges.

Brian Burke
Toward the end of the program, each team presented its findings and solutions to the members of the GEM team. This year, for the first time, the program included two participants from Crawford subsidiary, Garden City Group™, LLC (GCG®). One of the participants, Brian Burke, GCG senior vice president, Operations, said, “Thank you for everything you did to make us feel welcome while attending the event. You truly made an amazing event and something I will cherish forever.”

Matthew Cronican
Matthew Cronican, assistant operations supervisor, Crawford Catastrophe Services, added, “It was an experience I will never forget. I have to say that I have more confidence in the Company than ever before, and I look forward to the future. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone from around the world and most of all getting the exposure to our leadership.”
Congratulations to Crawford’s most recent class of emerging leaders!
