Crawford® Receives Champion of Learning Recognition
Crawford & Company® has been named a Champion of Learning for an innovative program it introduced in December 2015 called Leader Labs. The award, presented by the Association for Talent Development (ATD), recognizes organizations that exemplify the value of learning and the important link between a knowledgeable, highly skilled workforce and organizational success.
During the first week of December, Crawford participated in Employee Learning Week, an event sponsored by ATD, the world’s largest association dedicated to those who develop organizational talent. The Leader Labs were launched during this annual event and were co-developed by Crawford Educational Services and Nidhi Verma, Crawford’s director of Talent Management. The Leader Labs were established in conjunction with Crawford’s annual Emerging Leaders Program, a weeklong course designed to cultivate its leaders.
The Leader Labs are a virtual learning experience in which members collaborate to discuss educational videos on management and leadership topics. The labs provide both learning and application while fostering relationships among Crawford leaders.
This is the second consecutive year that Crawford has earned the Champion of Learning award, distinguishing the company as an organization that exemplifies the value of learning. Others recognized were Georgia State University, Primrose Schools and Converging Solutions.
Continuous learning is key to Crawford’s success and is supported not only during Employee Learning Week but year-round.
