Crawford & Company® has received the 2015 InformationWeek Elite 100 Award and the CIO 100 Award in 2015, both for the second consecutive year!
Crawford received the InformationWeek Elite 100 Award for creating business value from technology, and this year’s win highlighted Crawford iQ™, the Company’s proprietary desktop and mobile software, for the improved quality and process efficiencies it is driving in the organization. Crawford’s CIO 100 award was based on its use of information technology (IT) effectively to create business value by delivering competitive advantage to the enterprise and enabling growth. Crawford iQ™ was also cited by CIO as the basis for its award.
With these recognitions, Crawford has garnered more than a dozen national awards for its technology over the past seven years. The list of 2015 InformationWeek Elite 100 winners may be found on http://www.informationweek.com/elite100 and information on the CIO 100 winners may be found here http://www.cio.com/category/cio100/.
“We appreciate InformationWeek and CIO magazine honoring us again, especially considering the many top companies competing for these recognitions,” said Brian Flynn, Crawford executive vice president and global chief information officer. “The awards are wonderful validation that our ongoing efforts are effective as we bring value to clients and employees through sophisticated but easy-to-use technology.”
Crawford iQ is how Crawford categorizes and markets its innovative suite of proprietary technological products and services, with a goal of making Crawford’s state-of-the-art technology more approachable. Through Crawford iQ, the Company has been able to realize significant double-digit percentage efficiency gains in areas such as call center operations, field processes, back office operations, and productivity.
As part of its CIO 100 award, Crawford was included in the magazine’s coverage of CIO 100 honorees online and in its August 1, 2015, issue. The company was also recognized at an awards dinner at the CIO 100 Symposium & Awards Ceremony, August 9-11, 2015, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The process for choosing the CIO 100 honorees is systematic and very competitive. Recipients of this year’s CIO 100 Award were selected through a three-step process. First, companies filled out an online application form detailing their innovative IT and business initiatives. Next, a team of external judges (many of them former CIOs) reviewed the applications in depth, looking for leading-edge IT practices and measurable results. Finally, CIO editors reviewed the judges’ recommendations and selected the final 100.
