The mobile app allows homeowners to get easily connected with a local contractor that has the relevant skills and experience for their job. Within the app, homeowners can manage all their home projects in one place and can add photos of what they want their project to look like when it’s finished. Requesting a contractor through the app is easy and is just one part of its intuitive functionality. Homeowners can just tap “Get Started” on the app’s home screen, enter the ZIP code where their project is being done, describe their project in a few simple steps, and request a contractor, all for free. They’ll then be contacted within 24 hours by the contractor chosen for them and can set a time to meet with their contractor and receive a free estimate for their project. The app’s additional features include the ability for homeowners to describe what they want done in great detail and the timeframe they may expect for the project’s start through completion.
Once the homeowner approves the estimate, work begins promptly, and the homeowner can again access the app and track the progress of their project until it’s finished. After project completion, the homeowner will be asked via email to fill out a customer satisfaction survey and submit it to Contractor Connection as part of its quality monitoring efforts.
