The National Weather Service has predicted “historic” winter storm conditions for the Northeastern U.S. — with the worst expected to hit Monday night into Tuesday. Named Winter Storm Juno, blizzard and winter storm warnings have already been issued from Maryland through Maine and into Canada. Affected areas should brace for freezing rain and strong wind gusts possibly reaching 55 to 65 mph and up to three feet of snow in Boston and New York. The heaviest snowfall amounts from Juno are expected from far eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey to New England.
