How do you improve an emerging leader’s knowledge, networking savvy and perspective of an organization? The answer is mentoring. In a recent thought leadership article published in Training magazine, “Mentoring as a Leadership Development Tool,” Crawford’s Douglas Dell, VP of Crawford Educational Services, discussed the importance of mentoring and the Crawford Mentoring Model which is structured into three components: a process map, roles and responsibilities of participants and a measurement system tied to a continuous improvement cycle. The model was developed as a project evolving from the Emerging Leaders Program and driven by Crawford’s Talent Management Advisory Group which has rolled out a global pilot across three continents. Read more about the Crawford Mentoring Model in the full article here.
