Crawford & Company® started with one small office in 1941, but, as the world’s largest independent provider of claims management solutions, we have grown into so much more. Here in a nutshell is the family of businesses you’ll be meeting as our blog develops.
The Crawford brand is largely known for property and casualty claims management throughout the world, though we also offer a wide variety of other claims services under the Crawford umbrella.
Closely allied to the Crawford brand is Crawford Contractor Connection®, which offers a managed repair network of more than 4,000 contractors in the United States, Canada and Australia, and is available to both insurers and consumers. In the U.K, this service is known as repairNet.
Broadspire® helps businesses manage workers compensation and liability claims and provides a comprehensive array of related medical management services. Broadspire began in the United States, but Crawford now offers services under the Broadspire name in other parts of the world.
Risk Sciences Group® (RSG) provides risk management information systems, analytics and talent to help risk managers understand their claims programs. RSG serves both Broadspire and standalone clients.
The Garden City Group (GCG®) is a leader in legal administration services for class action settlements, bankruptcy cases and legal noticing programs. The firm has been engaged in many high-profile matters, including the General Motors bankruptcy and the Gulf Coast Claims Facility involved in managing the Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico.
Crawford Global Technical Services (GTS®) manages large, complex losses all around the globe. Most recently, our GTS adjusters have assisted clients after catastrophes in Thailand, Japan, New Zealand, Australia and Chile, to name a few.
Strategic Warranty ServicesTM offers warranty solutions to manufacturers and retailers in the U.S. home construction and building products industry.
SLS® is the name of our liability claims specialists in the U.K.
Last but not least, KMC On DemandSM offers online and classroom training for claims adjusters. Its latest accomplishment is PTC II, the second part of a Property Technical Certification developed in conjunction with an industry advisory group.
By design, this blog will be a true reflection of our organization: multifaceted and far-ranging. We’re sharing it among our businesses, and you’ll read contributions from many people and many parts of our company in this space. We also hope to hear from you, so please post your comments in the blog whenever you have something to say. We don’t want ours to be the only voice you hear on this site.
